Gratitude for pay check # 2

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M  Thanking God for the income and provisions you have is more important than ASKing for what you need.  Asking is not wrong.  But here’s perspective.  He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.  Psalm 50: 10. He can choose to give a person 500 or 5, or a hamburger.

V We’re instructed to be content with whatever He chooses.  That first step of gratitude signals to God more than contentment.  We are acknowledging that He is Lord of all:  much or little.  Next we can ask, ‘Lord, how can I deploy this?’ This is creating a spending plan. An important directive in Scripture is, the total for that spending plan must be smaller than your income.
