Christ followers are daily confronted by the challenge of being conformed to the world around us or transformed by God.  Romans 12:  1,2

 

Taking the word of God and comparing it to our culture, here are 4 important principles where God makes clear distinctions and our culture does not.

 

Good and evil

Man and woman

God and man

Man and animal

 

Bring those 4 principles to your small group, discussion group, and family conversations.  Search Scripture so that you will be ready to answer those in our culture that recognize no distinctions there.

 

Yes, in my time as a counselor in public high schools, I discussed homosexuality over coffee in the faculty lounge.  Be informed by Scripture first, then compassionate and clear in the dialogue.  Transformed, not conformed.
