God’s solution

What is the solution to our broken country attempting to survive and come to a better place? Jesus gives the answer. Matthew 23: 37, 38, Like a mother hen, God wishes to shelter us fragile, human chicks under His protective wings. But we are not willing. Then comes a warning: ‘the love of many will grow cold.’ (Matthew 24, 12)
I felt my heart turning lukewarm, weary of the pandemic, the peaceful protesters begging to be seen and heard, followed by senseless rage, theft and destruction, fear for my multicultural, multiracial family spread over the globe.
Lord, keep my heart white hot for You. I run to you for protection. I will not hide or be silent. We need repentance, transparent confessions of our selfishness. I implore you, Lord, don’t abandon our country now. We need you more than ever. Amen!
