Giving a ROTH IRA

I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M Are you thinking about starting a ROTH IRA for a younger family member?  It’s a great way to pass on a legacy to help with their retirement decades later. An advantage is that invested well it will grow and create wealth for a later time.

V Often that cash gift is quickly spent. Decades later the purchase is forgotten or useless.  Talk with that teen or mil lineal about stocks you would pick. Their curiosity and learning about investing will grow when their name is on the Roth.

M You can open or participate in ROTH IRAs for older children depending on their income.  Remember, God has entrusted all you have to you and wants you to dispense it wisely.
