Fresh perspective on widowhood 4
April 23, 2020
Who is watching you? Pause and consider those who see you. In my season of widowhood, many watch me: family, neighborhood, friends, classes I teach, conventions and conferences. What do they see?
A woman whose faith was shaken with my husband’s death. A woman who has chosen to cling tenaciously to my Jesus for each day. If you ask me to share, to teach, whatever with open Bible, I have one answer: YES! Because I’ve never doubted? No. Because I have an awesome teaching gift? No. I’m ordinary.
I do have a simple a faith that God alone can sustain. I’m humbled daily by my challenges. God’s grace and mercy are new every day because I used up all of yesterday’s yesterday. God’s eyes on me are all that matter.
