M I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M As the steward of the money God has entrusted to you, be careful. Scammers have a plan for that money.
V Some scammers pose as IRS agents saying pay up immediately. A lawsuit is being filed against you. Read more about this scam directly on the FTC.gov website under the “IRS Telephone Scam” section. Some common scam themes say: hurry and make his payment, leaving you little time to verify. Don’t check with outside sources, and they are pushy, forceful, even threatening.
Hanging up, checking with the FTC of your State’s Attorney General’s office are good ways to start to combat fraud.
M Remember, you are a steward of God’s generosity.
