Forgiveness
June 19, 2020
Life is messy. Today yesterday’s disruptions are not solved, but improving I hope. Disruptions offer us the opportunity to forgive. We can’t forgive a disease. But people react in many ways. Forgiveness might involve a previous employer, or government official, friend or family member.
Don’t wait for an apology or their solution. Jesus forgiveness of those who wronged him is our example. Luke 23: 34.
Forgiveness is neither cheap nor easy. If it were, we’d quickly forgive people, medical personnel, law makers, organizations, human resource departments, decision makers in insurance companies whether medical, automotive, home owners, and we’d forgive politicians. And this is a partial list. If we started listing all the possible contributors to our loss, there would be no notebook, hard copy or electronic that could contain it.
Jesus forgave. So can we.
