Focus after loss

Are you focusing on what you lost during this past season of disruption?  Maybe you are still in it.  Knowing that others are in the same boat does not comfort you, or bring you solutions.

It has been said that when stressful things happen, we should spend 5% of our energy and focus considering whether we got a good or bad deal, what the real facts and their implications are, and 95% of our energy and focus deciding what to do about it.

The longer we spend muddling over our ‘bad deal’ the less time and energy we have to focus on what to do about it moving forward.  Focusing on the bad deal keeps our head, heart, and body on different planets.

What is God able to do in our new reality?  Bring something good.
