I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M Americans are overwhelmingly worried that they would be financially ‘crippled’ by life events: divorce, having children, outliving their spouse. Yet few save for those possible events.
V Scripture is clear that we live within our means—earn first and then spend Proverbs 24: 27. Anticipate and prepare for the future I Timothy 5: 8, plant and harvest. While life events can derail even our best plans, health emergencies, job loss, we face those knowing that we followed God’s instructions as best we could.
M Following these principles frees us from fear. We’ve been obedient. We rest in God. He blesses us in ways we could imagine, provides uniquely and sees us through with peace, which is better than prosperity.
