M Every person single or married needs to be financially competent. Consider this. You need only basic math skills, adding, subtracting, or just a calculator to change those shaky numbers into a manageable budget.
V Its not uncommon for women to depend on another person to oversee their money. We believe it’s important for each person to know and understand their source of income and where it’s going. In fact, we all stand before God alone. It’s all God’s so we are accountable to Him as individuals whether we are married, dependent on others, or single.
M When circumstances change, we’re at least informed if not ready to take the financial reigns of our lives. That’s financial competency and accountability.
