M If you are asked for a financial loan this year, its biblical to have ‘strings’ attached. One biblical ‘string’ is collateral: something you hold and return when the loan is repaid, or a title as security if the loan is not repaid.
V Scripture says it should not be unreasonable, or exorbitant. Its wise to also ask yourself, could I give this as a gift? Will I be OK if that money is never returned? You are probably being asked because other sources of money have declined that request. That possibility is real.
M Its good to remember, it’s not MY money. It’s all God’s on loan to me. Would this use of God’s resource, honor Him.
