M Finances are one of the greatest sources of disagreement in marriage. It is high on the list of reasons for divorce. Lets talk about unity in finances.
V Be a team. Consider not spending any money until you agree. This means talk, talk, talk. Start before marriage. Talking early about shared values and different values might mean that person is not the partner for you. Is compromise possible? Or are those differences a great divide that will cause conflict continually.
M Valerie, in your marriage ceremony the pastor quoted the verse Ecclesiastes 4:12 A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. You, Mark, and God as Lord over both of you. Thats three strands. A strong unity for financial decisions.
