I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M Family money meetings are a good place for children to start learning about money. Learning the difference between wants and needs starts here. Some suggest sharing the family budget, not including income or even all categories, but at least acknowledging what is required for housing, groceries, and the cost of vacations.
V In a recent survey 60% of teens said that learning about money management was a top priority. They can begin to see the value of turning off lights and electronics. They can see that money not spent in some areas might increase vacation opportunities. Include them in generosity plans and giving.
M As a couple this challenges you to be united and on target. A good thing.
