Excess

I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M Looking back on past Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations, one thing becomes clear. We experience excess. Our table spreads could have served twice the number of people. Leftovers are good, but not for long.
V Just because its tradition, does not mean it cannot be tweaked, changed. Our excess can shrink and our generosity can grow. Family involvement in serving meals to those in need, visiting a shelter, connecting with those who have less than we do changes prospectives. Teens can see that much of what they feel is necessary, many other teens don’t have.
M Yes, God gives us richly all things to enjoy. I Timothy 6: 17. One of our greatest joys can be sharing that with others.
