Enemy of financial accountability # 1

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

Enemy of financial accountability # 1.  Bad Habit.  “I’ve always had that.  Its a part of my budget.”  When I became single after my husband’s exit to heaven, my available income dropped.  I always got a drive through coffee on my way to work.  Average $4.  Sometimes a donut.  Painted nails, and toes in summer.  All small things, but habit.  Why change?

V  Because the budget won’t balance.  I watched you, Mom become content without some of habit expenses in your life before.  We’re not saying no coffee or beautiful nails.  Just be sure you cover the essentials and decide what is really essential.
