M Economic indicators look good for those who want to work. Unemployment is at an all time low of 3.9%. New jobs are being created, but some sectors are shrinking. Labor participation is at 62.8 percent, meaning some are not looking for work.
V Scripture is clear that work is a good thing. No job is lowly. Minimum wage jobs may be not popular, nor valued in the world’s eyes. But in God’s eyes, to be productive is a good thing. If you are having difficulty finding that job, network. Talk to friends, relatives, any one. Most jobs are found through personal connection. Apply anywhere, but don’t stop talking to others.
