Dream Dollars

I recently met a financial planner who challenged me to change my financial mindset. He created a pyramid picture showing how we think of our money. Ground level is survival, followed by ‘what if’ dollars, freedom dollars, then gifts, and then dream dollars. I was challenged to picture my dream. I pictured many, many widows in Africa with their own sewing machines, trained, and able to pursue at least survival for themselves and their orphaned children.
The dream is bigger than I am, but not bigger than God. So I’m planning my next trip to Africa. Others with the same dream are pitching in. Our dream may not reach many. but I’m content to start with a few and grow from there.
