M Sadly we live in a world where deceit and theft are common, even in shared affinity groups, even family. Being accountable with what God has loaned to you to steward means protecting those assets for His glory.
V Do shred documents that have social security numbers, medical information and other identifying information. Check your credit report each year to check for identity theft. Are financial websites secure? Do they start with ‘https’ and show a lock symbol?
Don’t ever give passwords over the phone or through emails, even if they claim to be from your bank. Use complex passwords.
M Ok, it takes time and caution. It’s worth it. Peace of heart and mind. Priceless.
