Do What You Can

Do you, as I sometimes do, feel I could do so much more if I just had more means? More money to start more widows tailoring projects. More time to respond in greater depth to the hearts cry of hurting women. More media outlets to get the message out that starting over can be a good thing.
Reading Mark 14, the woman who emptied her jar of precious perfume on Jesus turned my thinking around. She was criticized, but Jesus defended her. Verse 6, “She has done a beautiful thing to me.” Verse 8, “she did what she could.”
God’s evaluation is the only one that counts. He measures my success not by what I do not have and therefore do not use. His call to action: Do What You Can.
