Disruptions, Families

Many families are seeing more of each other than they ever have, some more than they wish.  Many school children are still home more than they ever were.  Even hybrid part time hours do not offer after school options, sports, and clubs.

Parents are trying to work from home, or must return to jobs leaving children in new situations.  Will teens keep a study routine?  Can relatives watch little ones?

In my neighborhood, I’m seeing Mom’s, Dad’s and little children out walking at lunch time, new Norman Rockwell scene:  the idyllic family.

God placed children in families, not the responsibility of schools, organizations, or governments.

God is giving families the opportunity to grow together, get to know each other better,  support each other, be flexible, and live I Corinthians 13 in a new way.
