Death

Death is a dividing thing in many cases. Relatives disagree regarding getting rid of stuff, how to honor that person, who shows up and who doesn’t. These are all ‘this world’ stuff. Humans don’t understand, and have a hard time coping.
There’s another possibility. Death is simply a transition for Christ followers: leaving behind a life that had some good and some bad for a life that is all joy, no tears, endless celebration. For the Christ followers left behind, the stuff is just the stuff, not significant. Treasure the good in that legacy and look forward to a positive reunion day.
Death can motivate others to contemplate what comes next. Accepting Christ, death is no longer, a dividing thing.
