Couples challenges

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money.

M Its common in marriage for one partner to be the more vocal decision maker.  This is true whether or not that person has greater expertise.  This  can create conflict.

V We encourage both spouses being informed on all money matters.  Budget for sure.  Both can be informed on selecting the next car.  Both can agree on appliance replacements.  Both should be involved in selecting life insurance and how money is saved for the future. including retirement.  Those bumpy discussions result in better decisions.  Two minds in action instead of one.

M I can promise you that those discussions will have payoff in better financial decisions, and unity. Enjoy together expanding what you know. Ecclesiastes 4:12, two minds are better than one.
