Control And God’s Data

We humans want to control what’s happening. Truth is, we cannot! Stuff happens that we did not chose and do not want. I was recently reminded that God looks at our struggles, challenges, and even losses through entirely different eyes than ours.
God’s data includes knowing all past facts, our decisions, motivations, all influences.
God’s data includes total clarity of every future possibility, turn and obstacle in our journey. He knows the hurricanes, illnesses, financial twists, and turns ahead.
God’s data is complete, mine, incomplete. Yet I try to manipulate, control, and defy the odds. Impossible!
More important than God’s data is his love. When He gives permission for hard things to happen, His love is great enough to make up for, cover, recover, and bless us in ways unseen today.
It has been said, ‘Let go and let God.’ Truth for today.
