Contentment

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M  Scripture says that godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6.  Does that mean if you are content, your bank account will grow?  That’s not a promise, but  a principle.

V  Contentment is a preventative for impulse spending.  And that impulse spending is an enemy of your spending plan.  Paul’s words in I Timothy 6:8. if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Our friend Babbie Mason said she was grateful for food on the table and sleeping indoors.  Her words put our spending in perspective.  What do we really need?
