Christmas Prayers

As Christmas day approaches, remember it is packed with the planned and the unexpected. No matter the careful preparation, usually something does not go as planned. There may be a crisis. No day is exempt from catastrophe. I want to be prayer focused whatever the day brings. We can because we’re celebrating the debut of the only One who can overcome anything that comes my way or yours. In Matthew 28: 18 Jesus states that ‘all authority in heaven on earth has been given to me.’ That means my home and yours, our workplace, hospital, highway, or prison.
Whatever happens Lord, while allowed, will not thwart your long-range goal to assure us that your love is bigger than any challenge that comes our way.
When the unexpected happens, we can say, “God, you’ve got this.”
