Christian leaders

Christian leaders are subject to the same temptations as non believing leaders. We’ve recently seen politicians who did not get what they wanted blame, blame , blame and make excuses. There is little self scrutiny, and few around them to hold them accountable. They are quick to promote their version, skewed by their self focus.
Sadly Christian leaders are not only tempted but succumb to their wish for their legacy, their likability, their accolades in the moment. They keep only admirers near them.
What is missing is transparency in the organization, and accountability. Folks up close fact checking, calendar checking, relationship checking. And people who can present the ‘outside view.’ God holds Christian leaders to a higher standard. So should we.
