Center of the world
January 26, 2018
One military family’s center of their universe was their soldier daddy. And he was being deployed. Jill Bozeman wrote that the ‘center of our world was being sent half a world away.’ The family watched him board that white bus.
The following Sunday Jill struggled facing the reality of being a single Mom again and the fear of the unknown. Deployment to Afghanistan brought real dangers. God gently reminded her He’d sent his son a universe away and KNEW the terror ahead for his son. Jill’s heart was comforted. God whispered, “I love you so much that I sent my son to board that bus for you.” That quiet comfort carried her through that deployment, parenting alone, praying desperately, yet confidently, until he came home.
