M As Christmas approaches, temptations to over spend on gifts for others, even oneself  increase.  Its emotional.  Its the season.  Everybody’s doing it.  With your plan in place for what you will spend for each gift, put your credit card away, get cash for only what you have predetermined to spend, even separate envelopes for each gift and seal them.

 

We are forced to think before we act.

 

V  If you plan to order and must use a credit card, keep your allowance list handy.  Under is OK, not over.  Pay using a  third party, like PayPal.  Mom, you had multiple fraudulent charges after last Christmas when credit cards were used on store sites.  Supposedly secure?  Not at all.  Large credible chains have been  repeatedly hacked.
