Breast plate of righteousness

As well dressed Christ followers, we wear the breastplate of righteousness. That breastplate is protective and we sure need it today. Our truths, our values, and our freedom to live and express those are under attack today. Our protection: righteousness. Psalm 106:3 says, “How blessed are those who keep justice, who practice righteousness at all times!” Opps, I fall far short of that every minute of every day.
Here’s good news. Jesus IS righteous. And He gives us HIS robe of righteousness to wear. God sees us through Jesus robe.
He grants us mercy and grace as we wear His breastplate. Yes, we offer grace and mercy to others. Yet we stand firm! We are neither ashamed or silenced, protected by Jesus’ righteousness.
