Blind spots finances
July 31, 2020
I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M These disruptive days have shown many of us that we have financial blind spots. We’ve assumed a somewhat steady pay check. We’ve assumed unemployment compensation would be more or last longer than reality today.
We’ve learned that we have blind spots in our financial life.
V We repeat regularly, have that 3-6 months set aside. This is more than a good idea, its a necessity. Scripture says tend your field, watch and care for your flock. Today’s translation: work and plan, retool our skills for our changing economy, learn, be flexible, pay attention.
These are days to watch and record all expenditures. This changing picture is a reality to guide our future.
M And as always, open Bible, willing heart.
