Behavior matters.

I’m challenged by Philippians 2:15 ‘So that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.’
I want to be a godly influence in my community, country, family and any place God places me. Believers in Paul’s day were living in a warped and crooked time. Romans worshiped many gods. The elite subjected the poor to taxes through coercion. Even Jewish leaders were corrupt.
To be a shining star, I need to be totally focused on God and his provision, not discriminate, exercising grace and mercy. Blameless? Only due to God’s forgiveness. We Christ followers will be a beacon of light. Our world needs God’s light more than ever.
