Assisting others financially is worthy of our careful consideration and prayer. Ronald Blue’s resources on financial assistance to others poses these questions.
V Am I helping or enabling? ? How responsible is the person with his/her finances? Do they have a budget or a plan? What is the least favorable, or most favorable, outcome? Is my response out of guilt or love?
M We parents mess up. Sometimes we try to compensate by handing out. Folks that does not work. Its enabling. . But many small businesses start with money from friends and family. Especially if you are quite close to the situation, get wise council.
