I’m an admirer of Abraham Lincoln. Many will remember his great accomplishments, a gifted orator, and his resolve in times of crisis. Few will review the scaffolding of his life that built the man. Yes, he was a man of ambition and exceptional political prowess. As is stated in Team of Rivals, by Doris Kearns Goodwin, “these were forged in the crucible of personal hardship.”
So, my friend, are you in the crucible of personal hardship? God is investing Kingdom Equity in you. You may not feel it now, but great wisdom and strength is never developed in days of ease.
People of Lincoln’s stature are rare. Remember God has his reasons for investing in you. In His time, your crucible of hardship can bring great and unexpected outcomes for His glory.
