A spacious place

We all want to be in a spacious place, a broad place full of opportunity, positive.  How does that happen?  Psalm 31: 8 describes this.  King David had been in places no one wants to be:  he had enemies, felt ‘afflicted.’  That’s not a good thing.

Did God actually put him in a great, spacious place?  Possibly.  But it might have been simply perspective.  The contrast of hard stuff and his present reality.  Present looked pretty good by comparison.  Spacious place convey a sense of peace.  Broad places convey room to grow, expand, move forward.

Can you look at your difficult circumstance as the doorway to a new and spacious place?  I’ve found that to be true through my widowhood and much more.
