Broken Heart

Is your heart broken today? Do you feel that is a barrier between you and God? Not so. Psalm 51: 17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. David had sinned, he acknowledged that. He could have tried to hide. Instead, he gave his broken heart to God. God forgave.
Regardless of why your heart is broken: person, circumstance, terrible decision, give it to God. Another person cannot heal your broken heart, nor is that person’s forgiveness all you need. We need to come clean before God for not following Him. Not obeying, honoring, following. God’s forgiveness is complete. His healing is complete. He is the only one who can accomplish both.
