Generosity God’s way

M All we have is on loan from God. We are his stewards. When we give to His purposes, He has guidelines.
V Give willingly. Not as an obligation. Give cheerfully with an open grateful heart. Give purposefully for Kingdom purposes. II Corinthians 8.
While some point to the 10% tithe, what’s important is not the portion or percent. It’s a heart issue.
M Our pastor gave this illustration. Two little boys were each given a box of chocolates by their dad. One swooped in with both hands stuffing his mouth and getting chocolate all over his face.
The other opened the box and lifted it to his father stating, you take the first piece. That’s generosity God’s way.
