Blessings of storms
October 20, 2021
Storms are considered destructive and can be. But from my farm days, I remember good. Lightening resulted in nitrogen being added to the soil. Better crops. Nitrogen is in the air not helping plants. Lightening breaks the bonds and the rain moves it into the soil.
So what good is a personal storm? We have have habits, behaviors that need to be broken up. We may need those cleansed and lessons learned enriching our life moving forward.
Visibility is low during storms. Low visibility in life demands that our faith grow. We trust holding God’s hand rather than creating our own path.
Storms water plants and fill lakes and reservoirs.
Thank you Lord for storms. You change our habits, keep us focused on You, and restore and strengthen us there.
