Transitions in our lives, welcome or unwelcome, are God’s opportunity to change not just our circumstances, but also our spiritual strength. We discover the paradoxes of God: promises not kept, prayers not answered from our perspective. In one of my greatest transitions, I claimed a new life verse Jer 12:5 “If you have raced with foot-runners and they have wearied you, how will you compete with horses? And if in a safe land you fall down, how will you fare in the thickets of the Jordan?
New verses began to beg for my attention.
Proverbs 21:31 “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.’
Victory God’s way may be different from our idea. My husband was healed in Heaven, not here on earth.
