Large vs small churches

After this pandemic disruption, churches will be discussing, what should we be doing now? How do we meaningfully connect? Small, house churches? How do we effectively disciple? How do we teach obedience as our culture runs from the truths of Scripture?
We need to start with prayers of repentance. These days have illuminated our weaknesses. Next we claim one of Jesus’ greatest promises: Matthew 28: 20. Jesus final words: ‘And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’
He has not, and will not, abandon us in this disruption. Let’s place that placard over our doors and sanctuaries.
Freedom to worship might become even more difficult. Freedom to speak God’s truths may bring more painful consequences. Jesus is with us and that’s all that matters.
