A good Father

Whether you had a good father or not, you may have a perfect Father: God creator of the universe and each of us. He loves us and wants to lavish His love on us. I John 3: 1 He sees us not condemning us for all we do wrong, but His heart is greater than ours, forgiving, because He sees us through His son Jesus’ eyes.
We don’t cringe in His presence. We’re forgiven. Jesus provides that. We ask in confidence for what we need. He hears. He’s paying attention.
Provision, contentment. He’s not napping. As my husband would say in his journey through ALS. The last chapter is written. Heaven ahead. We’ll be in a permanent place with our perfect Father in that perfect place.
