Restoring the church

Our churches are in need of restoration. We are the body of Christ, His bride. We are to be pure, showing no favoritism, servant hearted, caring for those in need. The 10 commandments are repeated in both the Old and New Testament.
The first commandment is the first commandment for a reason. If we don’t get that right, there’s no way we can keep the other 9. Exodus 20: 3 You shall have no other gods before me. When self is on the throne, no matter our position or rank, our greed, our abusive behavior, our grasping for whatever we want takes over.
I’m committing to start each day declaring that our Lord, God is my God and asking Him to first help me honor and serve Him and Him only.
