Complaining

We are good at grumbling and complaining. It comes naturally.   But what good does it do?  Throughout the Psalms, David complained.  He complained about his enemies.  He whined about when God would show up to rescue him.

Our lives have troubles.  Complaining and whining to others only spreads dissent and delusionment  First step.  Take them to God.  David recognized in Psalm 73: 17 that He only gained perspective in God’s sanctuary.  Circumstances may not change, my friend.  But ask yourself, “How does God see this?”  “What can I learn today?”  “What action would He approve of today?”  “Is this a ‘wait’ and ‘watch’ time?”

Complaining to God means you’re trusting Him not only to listen, but to guide you.  You can trust that you’ve taken your troubles to the right person.
