Enemy Noise

Are you distracted by enemy noise?  A margin note in my Bible reminded me of challenges I faced during my days working in public high schools, I was often distracted by enemy noise.  Hall language, reinforcing student behavior that violates God’s direction such as needing to announce a faculty driven club for homosexual behavior reinforcement.  Being salt and light was hard.  Psalm 55: 2 , 3.  I am distraught  by the noise of the enemy,  because of the clamor of the wicked.

What enemy noise distracts you?  Daily news, there’s lots of noise that distracts and discourages us.  David’s psalms remind us, “But I will trust in you.”

Solution:  spend as much time absorbing God’s news as being distracted by enemy noise.  We are preservative salt, and God’s light in dark places.
