Financial accountability takes time

M What illusive task needs your attention? And is not getting it? A common one is personal financial accountability. It takes time. For me, being single, at least 2 days a month, I’m on it! When I’m not paying attention, stuff happens. I’m less disciplined in spending or not spending.
V For my family, we can divide tasks, but do not give up communication time. We’re not saying sharing financial oversight is easy. But its necessary. 100 % transparency in marriage is foundational. Spread sheets of discretionary spending, fixed costs. Everything going in and coming out.
