I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M Serious question, friends, but don’t answer out loud. Looking back on personal money matters, what regrets do you have? Too frugal to pay the delivery charge, I had the discount furniture store load a couch on our car, a vehicle my husband loved. Scratched car top. Saved thirty bucks, upset husband, and dented the car.
V Sounds frugal, Mom. But many regrets are money wasted. This exercise briefly reflecting on regrets helps us pause when we’re about to make a purchase, sign a contract, commit hard earned money, or direct earnings for that thing. Is that just another bright, shiny object, or a useful item?
M Proverbs 13 : 11 tells us that whoever earns money little by little makes it grow. We earn first, value funds, and grow them, not waste them.
