M Debt is a greedy beast. Americans carry much credit card debt. Its a heavy load devouring money for interest AND anxiety over credit scores and buying options.
V Few voices will tell you to avoid debt. Christ followers can. Romans 12: 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. And the borrower is slave to the lender.
This world’s pattern is instant gratification, affordable or not. That entertainment event, wardrobe enhancer, transportation gem.
Scripture demonstrated planting and then waiting and anticipating the harvest.
M Today’s ‘harvests’ vary and may be unpredictable. Don’t spend until the money is in hand.
