Pandemic changes
November 4, 2020
I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M How has this pandemic affected your spending plan? Lets look first at expenses. Many need less for transportation. Less money spent on eating out. The increase for food at home is typically not as large as the reduction of dollars going out.
V More here, less there. You get the point. Pause and take inventory. It’s not guessing time, but actually look at your records of what has been spent. Maybe less on clothing, and travel. If income has shrunk, hopefully we all had that 3—6 month reserve set aside for times like these.
M We encourage you, whether a family of one or many, to pause, take a real inventory, and intentionally create your spending plan. Your reward: God honoring decisions and peace of mind.
