M Elections have consequences. Elections effect economics. Some of those impact our finances. Does Scripture address this? For sure. Scripture tells us God blesses obedience. We know He detests taking advantage of others, unequal measures and corruption. He instructs us to work and plan for the future. God’s principles apply to individuals and nations.
V Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people. The Old Testament documents the decline of God’s people, His nation, when they did not obey and revere Him. God has not changed. As Christ followers, our contentment is not in our financial security as a nation, or as people. Yet, we hunger for and can pray that our Nation follows biblical financial principles.
