December lists
December 4, 2020
December is a list making month for me. By nature a planner, liking known things not surprises, I plan. Holiday family menus, gifts, ordering online, creating, list making is kinda fun. Things to attend or decline.
I’m being more mindful this month of building in time for solitude. Whether a brisk walk, or cozy coffee time, I need time for Scripture, prayer, journaling, and just quiet.
We are celebrating a babe who became a man and took time to listen, talk, connect. What a gift for me to give others around me this season.
If I accomplish all on my list as a tired grouch, this Christmas time will not be a time that Jesus intends it to be.
Top of the list: solitude with Jesus.
