Lessons from loss

Our country continues to change in unpredictable, often unwanted ways as the pandemic continues to influence every strata and aspect of our lives. Politicized, policies to serve some sectors more than others. Greed and power are laid bare.
We have all experienced loss. Death, financial upheaval, freedom to worship as we love to do. We don’t like it. Denied social interactions, we are lonely.
Yet we can learn valuable lessons from this. Some are beyond our control. Hurricanes of nature or in relationships. Romans 12: 1 & 2 tells us we can be transformed, a better life. We need not be conformed and imprisoned by our loss.
God created us to be resilient. He is creative, and we’re his image bearers. Let’s look at this season as godly transformation time.
